October 2014 Blood Drive in Wynnewood, PA
Many, many thanks to everyone who supported the 7th Annual Carol H. Axelrod Memorial Blood Drive at Lankenau Medical Center in October 2014! We are very happy to report that over the two days of the drive, 237 units of blood were collected, making this one of our most productive drives ever. Those 237 units will be used to help as many as 711 people receive the lifesaving transfusions they need…and 711 families will have been touched by the generosity of the donors at this blood drive.
We are also very pleased to have had the opportunity to help raise awareness and provide support for the important work being done by ElderNet of Lower Merion & Narberth, which provides important services to enable elderly, disabled, and low-income residents to live in dignity and safety in their own homes for as long as possible.
Thank you again for all of your help and support!
Thank you to all of the extremely generous businesses and organizations that supported the October 2014 blood drive!
Special thanks also go to the numerous friends and family members whose contributions of time, ideas, drawing prizes, and support provided an enormous boost to our efforts. The blood drive could not have been successful without all of them!
