May 2019 Blood Drive in Radnor Township, PA
Thank you to everyone who supported the 8th annual Carol H. Axelrod Memorial Blood Drive in Radnor Township!
It is always a very special experience for us to see so many generous people come to the Radnor Township Building to donate blood. Over the course of the day, we welcomed more than 170 donors and collected enough blood products to save the lives of nearly 500 people!
This means that, thanks to you, close to 500 families will be able to spend more time with a loved one—something that, as we know from personal experience, is an incomparable gift.
Whether you donated blood, volunteered your time, provided food or drawing prizes, assisted with logistics, or helped us spread the word and recruit blood donors, you played an integral role in the blood drive’s outcome, and we are grateful to you.
We are also happy that this blood drive was able to raise support for Radnor Fire Company/Radnor Ambulance and for the Wayne Senior Center. We appreciate having the opportunity to highlight the essential work that these organizations do in our community!
The next Carol H. Axelrod Memorial Blood Drive will take place on Wednesday, July 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Reserve at Gwynedd in the Blue Bell/Lansdale area (301 Primrose Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446). This location is about 20 minutes from Radnor, and additional information about the drive is on our website. We would love to see many of you there, but of course you can always find a location to donate blood by visiting www.redcrossblood.org and entering your zip code. We hope you will consider donating sometime during the summer months, when blood shortages often occur, and continue to save lives.
