May 2015 Blood Drive in Radnor Township, PA

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make the Carol H. Axelrod Memorial Blood Drive in Radnor a huge success! We are very excited to report that 131 units of blood were collected, representing our highest one-day collection total since we started holding blood drives in 2008. The best news is that the blood that was collected will be used to help as many as 393 people receive lifesaving transfusions. Together, we helped save almost 400 lives!

We are grateful to all of the blood donors, volunteers, and supporters who played a role in making the blood drive successful. We are also pleased that the drive was able to raise awareness and support for Peter’s Place and the Hero Scholarship Fund of Delaware County, two organizations that are actively working in our community to help children who have experienced loss.

Thank you again for your help, your support, and your commitment to saving lives! We hope to see you at one of our other blood drives this year.

Thank you to all of the extremely generous businesses and organizations that supported the May 2015              blood drive!

Special thanks also go to the numerous friends and family members whose contributions of time, ideas, drawing prizes, and support provided an enormous boost to our efforts. The blood drive could not have been successful without all of them!
