July 2013 Blood Drive in Lansdale, PA
Many thanks to everyone who supported our first summertime Carol H. Axelrod Memorial Blood Drive, which was also our first to be held in the Lansdale area! Thanks to all of you, we were able to exceed our goal and collect 46 units of blood, which will be used to help more than 130 people in our region!
We know that the drive was successful only because members of the community took the time to donate, volunteer, serve as sponsors, or help us spread the word about the importance of blood donation. We are truly grateful to you! Summer can be a very difficult time for blood collection—donations often go down even as the need for blood increases—but everyone who came to our blood drive proved that generosity and giving are important to them year-round!
We look forward to holding future drives at the Reserve at Gwynedd. Thank you for getting us off to such a great start!
