February 2020 Blood Drive at The Shipley School

Many, many thanks to everyone who supported our blood drive at The Shipley School on February 28! We were very fortunate to have had a wonderful turnout, and we are thrilled to announce that 131 units of blood were collected—our highest total yet at this location! This means that as many as 393 patients will be able to receive lifesaving transfusions in the days and weeks ahead.

The American Red Cross has been running a campaign called Give Blood to Give Time. This is an idea that is particularly meaningful for our family, and it truly represents why we hold our blood drives. Thanks to everyone who supported the drive last Friday, nearly 400 patients and their families will be able to spend more time together. It is incredibly inspiring to see so many people donating blood, and all of you motivate us to continue to build on Carol’s legacy by helping even more patients.

Our family’s next drive is planned for May 5, 2020, at the Radnor Township Municipal Building in Wayne, PA. We would love to see you there!

Once again, we extend our most heartfelt thanks to all of you for your help, your support, and your commitment to saving lives. We couldn’t do what we do without all of you!

Thank you to the extremely generous businesses and organizations that supported the February 2020 blood drive!

Special thanks also go to the numerous friends, family members, and Shipley students, parents, and faculty members whose contributions of time, ideas, and support provided an enormous boost to our efforts.
The blood drive could not have been successful without all of them!
