May 2016 Blood Drive in Radnor Township, PA
Thank you to everyone who supported the 5th Annual Carol H. Axelrod Memorial Blood Drive in Radnor Township! We are thrilled to announce that 138 units of blood were collected at the blood drive. This represents our highest one-day collection total in Radnor to date, but more importantly, it means that as many as 414 patients will be able to receive the lifesaving transfusions they need in the days and weeks ahead. Your generosity and commitment have made it possible for hundreds of patients and families to spend more time together!
We are also pleased that the drive was able to raise awareness and support for DMAX Foundation and Delaware County Special Olympics, two organizations that are doing very important work in our community.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to all of the blood donors, volunteers, and supporters who played a role in making the blood drive successful. Your support, and the personal stories that some of you shared with us at the drive, continue to inspire us. Thank you again for your help and for your commitment to saving lives!
