Someone new greeted donors at the very last Carol H. Axelrod Memorial Blood Drive, which was held at The Shipley School in April 2022 and was open only to the Shipley community. We were very proud to turn the blood drive over to our daughter, who was happy to be able to organize our family’s last blood drive at her school before she graduated!
We were thrilled to have a great turnout for our final blood drive, held in October 2021 in Radnor. We are so grateful to all of the blood donors and supporters who have joined us to save thousands of lives over the years!

Although the COVID-19 pandemic prevented us from taking on our usual volunteer roles inside the drive in October 2020, we were able to see some donors as they arrived or left, letting them know how much we appreciated their commitment to donating.
Thanks to the creative talents of a wonderful friend of our blood drives, donors couldn’t miss the temporary location
of our spring 2020 drive, the Radnor Activity Center in Radnor Township. The blood drop marked the spot!

When you see American Red Cross Blood Services trucks (here, outside the Radnor Township Municipal Building for our drive in May 2018), you know that lives are being saved!

At the 10th Annual CHA Memorial Blood Drive at Lankenau Medical Center in October 2017, we hit the incredible milestone of collecting enough blood products since 2008 to have saved as many as 10,000 lives!
